Reclaiming our five stars – democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality

About Me

About this blog

This blog focuses on the founding ideals of Singapore — democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality. I hope to articulate in some small ways how we can better live out these ideals for the benefit of all Singaporeans.

About me

I have been blogging since June 2006. My writing interests focus on Singapore’s politics, economy and society.

I am an ordinary member of the Workers’ Party of Singapore. However the writings on my blog are strictly my personal views. They do not necessarily reflect the views of the Workers’ Party or any other organisation I am associated with.

I always strive to write accurately and truthfully. If you spot any factual errors, please inform me. I will be happy to correct them promptly. If you have any reactions to my articles, please post a comment. I particularly welcome views opposing my own. However comments which are slanderous, racist, malicious or plain rude towards anyone will be deleted.

I am always open to discussing issues related to Singapore with anyone, either over email or in person. I’m happy to meet anyone to chat over lunch in town.
