I’d like to wish all my Muslim readers Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Eid Mubarak. Maaf zahir dan batin (especially for any wrong stuff I wrote on my blog!)

Dhana calls for more understanding(Jan 1988)
Ending a visit to Indonesia, Foreign Minister S.Dhanabalan reminded Singaporeans not to judge their neighbours by Singapore standards. Instead, Sinagporeans should try to understand and appreciate their problems.
“Sinagaporeans tend to think that solutions which work(in Singapore)can work elsewhere, not realising that others have quite different problems,” he said.
The minister also expressed his surprise at the inability of many young Singaporeans to speak Malay.
