I am a taxi driver. Comfort do not allow their taxi drivers to join political party. Neither do they allow us to be interview by journalist unless Comfort office gave permission. I used to live in Bedok for 20 years but only vote once. Now i am living in Marsiling but sadly the SDP contest in our constituency but anyway my vote still go to SDP. Don't come to Sembawang GRC because too many former Malaysian chinese immigrants, especially Marsiling area. These group of people are DIE HARD fans of PAP. It was reported there are 540000 Malaysian chinese PR in Singapore and this is the group the PAP leaders right now is pressuring them to take up citizenship so that they can qualified for the coming GE.

Oh I think they should really make their visits more prominent and with greater awareness! I wish they would come visit Tampines.

I have staying in Tampines for over 20 years and frankly speaking, I don't remember any political party coming for house visits or simply asking 'how are you doing', I only remember those grass-root people coming to sell the state flag during near national day period.

I wonder if they are more concerned in meeting their sales quota and getting all the residents to put up the state flag or are they really concerned about the welfare of the people.
