Alternative proposals for a better Singapore

Why can’t we all be colour blind?

A friend sent me these videos, produced by state oil company Petronas, promoting racial harmony in Malaysia on the occasion of their Merdeka Day (National Day). I found them really heartwarming — at least better than any of the racial harmony events and National Education propaganda that we see in Singapore.

The lady who came up with this campaign recently passed away. She was with Leo Burnett in KL. RIP.

She’s also was the one who came up with the funeral/family ad for National Family Council.

Yes I blogged about the Funeral commercial and found out later it was done by Yasmin Ahmad. But I didn’t know these Petronas commercials were done by her too. Sad to hear of her passing.
