The discussion we had was titled The Media’s Role and Press Freedom in Singapore. It was a very interesting discussion. But I never mentioned anything about elite journalists.

I would have like to know what you elite journalists discussed @ the meeting with elite journalists from US. I learned that they are here to tackle or learn how to deal( pc build understanding of Islamic communities, is it really?)with muslims, however the discussion lead to press freedom in Singapore. I would like an honest illumination.

Interestingly, I was on National Geographic channel during that 1hr and they stopped all broadcast of their regular programmes and kept repeatedly showing tips on how to live an enviro friendly lifestyle throughout that duration. Tips were similar to what you mentioned. I agree this is all quite wayang (play acting) and whats needed is a real change in lifestyle, though I know I’m unable, for a long while to come, to overcome points 1 and 3 above ;-)
